New use cases
Thanks to their smart card-based access control, the Kobra VS devices enables new use cases.
Secure data sharing
Since up to 10 users can be registered on a Kobra VS device, they can securely access the data stored on it.
Each person has its own access rights (read/Write).
Secure data transportation
Data can be securely transported using the Kobra VS device, as both the sender and the recipient each hold a smart card required for access. Without the corresponding card, the drive remains completely inaccessible, ensuring end-to-end protection during transit.
Secure backup
In organizations that use PKI smart cards, secure hard drives can be used for backup, ensuring that only authenticated employees can access their stored data.
